Saul Locker, President As Founder and President of Alexander Benefits Consulting, Saul’s foundation for forming long- term partnerships is centered on managing and servicing clients to the highest level of customer satisfaction. Saul has been in the industry for nearly 40 years. Prior to establishing ABC in 1998, Saul managed the South Central Region of Aon Consulting (formerly Alexander & Alexander Benefits Services) as Executive Vice President for 13 years. During his tenure with Aon, he was also responsible for creating and managing the National Specialty Healthcare Business. In addition, Saul served as the Regional Benefits Manager for Liberty Mutual for 7 years. Saul received his Bachelor of Science degree from Western Illinois University and his Masters of Business Administration from Colorado State University. He served as President of the Board of Directors for the Rocky Mountain Region of the Alzheimer’s Association, and served on the Board of Directors of Exempla Healthcare, St. Joseph Hospital Foundation and the Girl Scouts. In his free time, Saul enjoys exercising and is particularly passionate about skiing and golf.

Mike Cole, Senior Vice President Mike is the Senior Vice President of Alexander Benefits Consulting and has enjoyed working with the company for over 27 years. Mike has over 33 years of health and welfare experience. He received his Bachelor of Arts in Economics with a minor in English and Political Science from the University of Colorado at Boulder and prides himself on being a Colorado native. Mike specializes in and enjoys the opportunity to partner with clients in managing various Employee Benefit Programs. The benefits marketplace is a rapidly evolving challenge for clients and Mike finds great satisfaction in assisting them in navigating through the process. In his free time Mike enjoys fishing, biking, skiing and spending time with family in the beautiful Colorado outdoors.

Jill Withers, Account Executive Jill, a Colorado native born and raised in Eastern Colorado, has been servicing clients as an Account Executive with Alexander Benefits Consulting for 18 years. Jill has nearly 30 years of health and welfare consulting experience and she received her Bachelor of Science degree in Business Management and a Professional Certification in Human Resource Management from the University of Phoenix. Prior to joining Alexander Benefits Consulting Jill served as Human Resource Manager/Finance and Operations Manager for a local food brokerage firm for 16 years. Jill brought to Alexander Benefits Consulting a strong client perspective and worked with a local insurance brokerage firm designed and implemented comprehensive benefits for its employees. Jill partners with clients of all sizes, developing strategic business plans and renewal retention strategies to help them meet their individual company goals. She helps the customers resolve benefit and Human Resource opportunities, providing them with superior customer service. In her free time Jill likes spending time with her family and friends. She is passionate about golfing and donating time to local charity programs.

Eddie Gleason, Account Executive Eddie has over 10 years of Account Executive experience working with health care systems on their Property & Casualty, Revenue Cycle, and Employee Benefits needs. He received his Bachelors of Science from the University of Colorado. Eddie takes great pride in partnering with clients to develop an understanding of their operations, and devise marketing strategies to ensure that their coverage needs are met. Eddie prides himself on staying up to date on the constantly changing healthcare and benefits marketplace to ensure that his clients have the most up to date, and comprehensive, coverage options available to them. In his free time, Eddie enjoys spending time with his young son, wife, and attempting to golf.

Nikki Taner, Executive Assistant With over 10 years of experience in professional executive assistant roles, Nikki has a track record in strong performance within a variety of office environments. She manages the administrative duties while providing support to her colleagues and clients at Alexander Benefits Consulting. Being the first member in her family to graduate, she prides herself on receiving her Bachelor of Science Degree from Colorado State University. In her spare time, Nikki enjoys spending time with her family and friends, as well as being active in her community.

David Glaser, East Coast Business Development Leader As East Coast Business Development Leader for Alexander Benefits Consulting, David is responsible for introducing and integrating the healthcare sector on the east coast to our Healthcare Benefits Alliance Trust. David brings over 30 years of sales and relationship building skills to his role and is committed to the highest levels of integrity and responsiveness. Before joining Alexander Benefits Consulting, David worked as a senior consultant for our affiliate, National Financial Partners Corporate Services in New York City and as New Business Development Director for The Ross Companies. David received his Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science with Marketing minor from The College of New Jersey. He presently serves on the Advisory and Gala Committee for the Bergen Volunteer Medical Initiative. David has served on the Board of Trustees of the Tuxedo Park School, the committee for the annual Northern New Jersey American Cancer Society golf outing and the membership committee of the Barnert Temple in Northern New Jersey. David enjoys exercising, golf, skiing and spending time with his family.

Kimbery L. Bell, CEBS, MSM, Senior Vice President, Health and Welfare As Senior Vice President and National Health and Welfare Practice Leader, Kim has almost 30 years of experience in the benefits arena. Having served in a variety of roles on both the national and regional level, Kim’s extensive knowledge base has focused on administrative operations, consulting and retention services for a broad range of employee benefit programs. Kim has overall strategic and operational responsibility for the Benefit Administrations Services team and heads the Regional Advisory Council for the Insurance Brokerage and Consulting (IBC) division within NFP.  The IBC division advises on corporate and executive benefits, retirement plans and property and casualty insurance and also provides retail and wholesale life insurance brokerage and wealth management services. Kim also partners with firm principals and producers to build a market-leading health and welfare value proposition, which includes the products, tools and services that help NFP firms better serve their clients’ needs. Kim graduated from Indiana University with a Bachelor of Science in business and has a Master of Science degree in management from Indiana Wesleyan University.

Suzanne Spradley, Chief Compliance Officer,  Associate General Counsel Suzanne oversees the Benefits Compliance Department, which provides consulting services on all aspects of employee benefits compliance. Suzanne and her team continually monitor regulatory and legislative developments to provide compliance updates in the form of white papers, biweekly newsletters, webinars and speaking engagements. Additionally, they design and develop compliance tools to assist employers and plan sponsors with maintaining compliance in an ever-evolving regulatory environment. Suzanne previously worked in the Health Law and Insurance Regulatory sections of Akin, Gump, Strauss, Hauer & Feld LLP, a leading international law firm. She attended the Southern Methodist University School of Law, graduating cum laude in 2000. She was awarded a Rising Star designation in the “Super Lawyers” edition of Texas Monthly magazine.

Jill Brooking, Vice President, Benefits Compliance Jill advises on compliance issues related to employee benefits and human resource matters. She has over 15 years of experience in the employee benefits and insurance industry. Jill is familiar with all aspects of insurance, having worked for United Healthcare on the carrier side, the Texas Department of Insurance on the regulatory side, and in HR and benefits administration on the employer side.

Elizabeth Allen, J.D., RPA, GBA Assistant Vice President and Counsel, Benefits Compliance  Elizabeth joined our team in June 2014, advising employers and brokers on employee benefits compliance issues. Elizabeth previously spent five years as an investigator for the U.S. Department of Labor’s Employee Benefits Security Administration. As an investigator, she reviewed health and welfare and pension plans for compliance with ERISA, and worked with employers, service providers and other regulatory agencies to bring employee benefit plans into compliance. She also served as the Voluntary Fiduciary Correction Program (VFCP) coordinator from 2012–2014. Elizabeth holds a Bachelor of Arts in government from the University of Texas at Austin and a Juris Doctor from Southern Methodist University Dedman School of Law. She is a member of the State Bar of Texas.

Chase Cannon, J.D., LL.M. Vice President and Counsel, Benefits Compliance Chase currently works to help solve employee benefits-related compliance, regulatory and legal issues. Previously, Chase worked as an attorney at the Internal Revenue Service (IRS), Office of Chief Counsel in Washington, D.C., where he advised IRS agents and attorney litigators and drafted taxpayer guidance, including federal income tax regulations and private letter rulings, on issues relating to health and welfare benefits plans. He also spent two years as a judicial clerk for the Honorable Stephen Swift of the United States Tax Court in Washington, D.C. Chase holds a Bachelor of Science in political science from the University of Utah, a Juris Doctor from the University of San Diego School of Law and a Master of Laws in Taxation from Georgetown University Law Center, and he is a member of the State Bar of Maryland.

Jeff Cheshier, Vice President, Retirement Services  Jeff brings 7 years’ experience in the financial services industry, where he was responsible for broker-dealer relationship management and defined contribution business development for an international mutual fund provider. Jeff earned a BS from the University of Texas – Austin, and an MBA from the University of Texas – San Antonio. Additionally, he holds Series 6 and 63 registrations with the NASD.


Keith Hoffman, Vice President, Disability  Keith is a practice leader and subject matter expert for all disability-related products. Keith brings over 19 years of industry experience, including three years as an independent insurance producer. He holds a master’s in communications from Florida State University and an undergraduate degree from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. He is also a survivor advocate for prostate cancer with the U.S. Department of Defense.


Mark Rieder, Senior Vice President, Benefits Integration Group Mark joined NFP Benefits Partners in January 2011 as senior vice president of the newly established Benefits Integration Group. The Benefits Integration Group assists firms and their customers with the assessment, recommendation and implementation of Web-based solutions that maximize the efficiency and effectiveness of the benefits and HR process. Prior to joining Benefits Partners, Mark spent the previous nine out of his 15 years in the employee benefits industry as CEO of an NFP owned firm. Mark has a Bachelor of Science in finance with an emphasis in economics from The Pennsylvania State University.
